Sagittarius was founded by Cornelius Waldner in 1998. Four full-length albums (among others on Cold Spring Rec.) and several limited edition releases established the project as one of the main protagonists of the Neoclassic scene, blending traditional German and European poetry and literature with compositions conceived in the tradition of the classic art song.
